Linda Bruno served as the First Lady of the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) from 2010 to 2020, alongside her husband, Dr. Nick J. Bruno, during his tenure as president.Throughout their time at ULM, the Brunos were deeply committed to fostering a strong sense of community and supporting the university's mission.​
Community Engagement
As First Lady, Linda Bruno was actively involved in various university and community events.She co-hosted student dinners, celebrated faculty achievements, and participated in numerous campus activities, embodying the spirit of service and dedication to ULM's students and faculty.
To a large extent I will continue to be a partner and helper to Nick, but I am very excited about the possibilities to do more on campus.
Personal Life
Linda and Dr. Bruno have three children and one grandson.After nearly a decade of service to ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµand the Monroe community, they returned to their home in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.In 2025, Linda resumed her role as First Lady when Dr. Bruno was appointed as ULM's interim president.​
