MONROE, La. –ÌýÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµ (ULM) will host the Investiture of itsÌý10thÌýpresident, Dr. Carrie L. Castille, on Thursday, April 23, 2026.ÌýThe ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. in Fant-Ewing Coliseum, 4201 Bon Aire Dr. on the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµcampus.ÌýThe Investiture ceremony is free and open to the public.ÌýÇàÇà²ÝÊÓÆµemployees and students are encouraged to attend.Ìý
Following the Investiture ceremony, a Presidential Gala will be held at Bayou Pointe Event Center, 1 Warhawk Way, atÌý7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. The Presidential Gala is black-tie optional and will featureÌýfood, drinks, and live music. Tickets for the Presidential Gala are available atÌý.ÌýÌý
Dr. Carrie L. Castille began her role on June 9, 2025, as the 10thÌýpresident of the University of Louisiana Monroe. With over a decade of experience in higher education andÌýnearly 30Ìýyears of distinguished public service, she is recognized for her leadership in science, education, and public policy. Her career has been defined by advancing research innovation, expanding access to transformative learning, and fostering public engagement that strengthens communities.ÌýÌý
